With his health and his band in shambles, Iggy teamed up with guitarist/co-writer James Williamson and managed to come up with this three song mini-disc (originally issued on vinyl) before hitting the skids again. Both "Johanna" and "Consolation Prizes" are as strong as any of his early solo work, while the title cut is possibly the weirdest thing he's ever cut, and that's saying plenty. With strong gospel piano played on an out of tune upright and wire brushes on a baggy sounding drum kit, the overall effect sounds like a Fortune record or a fuzzy religious radio station... ~ Cub Koda, All Music Guide
