All Music Guide Review

A nice debut by onetime Sophisticated Gents member Jeff Redd, who made his solo debut with this album. He displayed a strong, soulful voice and very professional delivery, and had some fairly good love songs and romantic ballads. He enjoyed solid response from late-night radio shows with such songs as "Love High" and "What Goes Around, Comes Around." What he didn't get was a big hit. ~ Ron Wynn, All Music Guide
