The "party" in the title of any hip-hop or dance collection should be a clear tip off that the album is not a straight collection -- it's a continuous mix dance album, with each song seguing seamlessly into the next. Surely this will appeal to the kind of listener who wants infectious, entertaining background music at a party, but for the average consumer who buys various-artists albums, it'll just drive you nuts, since it not only contains alternate mixes of "OPP," "Express Yourself," "Paid in Full," and "The Choice Is Yours," but original versions of "My Adidas" and "Let Me Clear My Throat" and "Humpty Dance" just don't sound altered in this context -- they are altered, at least at the beginning of every track.
