    On "When I Goose Step," the A-side of this 7," the Shins cross their Brian Wilson and Love-inspired, psychedelic wonder pop with a dreamy Belle and Sebastian-esque pastoral sound. The B-side, "The Gloating Sun," is a mellow summer romp that blithely conjures up images of fields and daises, twirling in the sunshine, and falling asleep beside the lake.
