    All Music Guide Review

    The A-side of Kinski's Penthouse Suite single chugs, skitters, and groans with a wall of noise that would make Brian Eno grin. Much like Mogwai, Kinski builds instrumental music to a glass-shattering crescendo and then goes suddenly quiet only to return suddenly to the noise. But "Penthouse Suite" lacks some of the subtlety and nuance found on Mogwai's Rock Action. "Please Remain Seated," the B-side, is more melodic and seems like a message from space. A low rumble suggests something imminent, while the jangle of a lone guitar seems to ask, "what could possibly happen next?" It would make the perfect opening track for a Wim Wenders movie. ~ Charles Spano, All Music Guide
