    Lalo Rodriguez returns (after a recording absence), riding high in this superior CD. Although the romantic material seems to sail familiar waters, it receives a special oomph thanks to the creative efforts of Nino Segarra (who arranged "Pequeña Mia"), Eddie Fernandez, Jose Gazmey, and Milton Sesenton. Lalo Rodriguez, as usual, is excellent; a medley of some of Rodriguez's most famous, self-penned boleros is the icing on the cake in this recording. ~ José A. Estévez, Jr., All Music Guide
