    Southern Country Blues, Vol. 2 features three discs of music, each filled to the brim with legendary country blues performers from the South. There's no shortage of big names here: Memphis Minnie, Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, Leadbelly, and many others. It's somewhat of a letdown to discover that each performer only gets one song on the collection. Still, you can't help but marvel at the diversity of this collection. It's a perfect way to investigate Southern country blues and functions as a perfect, encyclopedic addition to your music collection -- a one-stop resource. ~ Jason Birchmeier, All Music Guide
