Chilled Out Euphoria is the third in a series of deeply relaxing chill recordings to come off of the U.K. label TelStar. The two recordings that came before Chilled Out Euphoria, Chilled Euphoria and Deep and Chilled Euphoria, were two excellently produced and wonderfully crafted long-running digital mixes by Red Jerry. With this album, for the first time, we hear somebody new stepping up to do the mix; in this case Solar Stone is responsible for the mixing duties. Chilled Out Euphoria is not much different from its predecessors, with one exception; where Red Jerry normally chose more unknown and obscure artists, Solar Stone has created a recording that certainly has higher profile artists, both in the States and abroad. Chilled Out Euphoria prominently features a rather strange INXS remix, Talvin Singh, Garbage, Everything But the Girl, Tangerine Dream, and Dido, as well as William Orbit, Art of Noise, the Future Sound of London, the now-famous Delerium remix that features pop songstress Sarah McLachlan, as well as a track by Orbital. While this recording may have less obscure artists, this compilation certainly puts them in a new light. This is a great recording for chilling out, as the title might apply.
