This is a deep and perplexing album that pushes the boundaries of hip-hop with every track. There's a thick rock influence floating throughout, with guitars and drums worked into the production. Sometimes the change in tempo and energy between tracks is a bit harsh, but, then again, this is a complex album, and it's entirely possible that it was done to keep his listeners guessing. 2Mex's blend between spoken word and rap is a unique take on hip-hop, while keeping with the underground eccentricity of his group the Visionaries. This is definitely the kind of record that has plenty of replay value if given a chance. ~ Brad Mills, All Music Guide
