Lyrics from Music for Romancing and Dancing
All Music Guide Review
Music for Romancing and Dancing features sweet dance band leader Sammy Kaye recorded between 1939 and 1950. The 25 tracks include "A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square," "You Stepped Out of a Dream," "It Might as Well Be Spring," and "Harbour Lights." This is a nice sampler with several familiar items, but the Collector's Choice compilation Swing and Sway with Sammy Kaye: 21 of His Greatest Hits is still the definitive purchase. ~ Al Campbell, All Music Guide
