In the second of Distinctive's Y4K influential breaks series, the Lancaster trio Koma & Bones focuses on the sinister and acutely danceable side of the breakbeat scene, from the garage spackle of Electroid's "Fire" remix to the unwound spring of 2Sinners' "Mr. Jingles" to the ketamine uplift of PMT's re-appropriation of Way Out West's "Intensify." Although it lacks both the 2-step swell and the drum'n'bass instincts of Tayo's first chapter and doesn't deserve the blind appraisals from the scene's leaders, it's a bright mix of undeveloped breakbeats and mid-speed appeal. ~ Dean Carlson, All Music Guide
