    All Music Guide Review

This is the kind of split single one will rasp flat on one side while he will keep the second side intact. Ulan Bator's "Echo#5" is a cerebral electro-gothic experimentation that is quasi-uninteresting, with noise for about seven minutes with no direction and no melody -- probably done in a slipshod way. On the contrary, the three pieces crafted by Chevreuil make this record worth its price, despite that one of the songs is a first draft of a track they recorded on their LP Sport. Chevreuil has the style, and their three tunes are powerful, intelligent, well-constructed instrumentals. They prove guitar and drums can be enough to make innovative, sharp rock. ~ Romain Guillou, All Music Guide
