In 2001 EMI Latin started a collection of rock en español compilations called Musicos Poetas y Locos, comprised of the label's major acts in that field with some of their greatest hits. This record opens with the heavy metal "Entre dos Tierras" by los Heroes del Silencio, followed by Mexican El Gran Silencio's "Tonta Canción de Amor." Chilean band los Prisioneros join with one of their best songs, "Tren Al Sur" from the album Corazones. The Brazilian band Paralamas, also known as Os Paralamas Do Sucesso, brings "Dos Margaritas," while Orquesta Mondragón deliver their funny lyrics on "Caperucita Feroz." The legendary Miguel Rios contributes with Argentine Charly García's classic "No Voy En Tren"; the Spanish Tam Tam Go goes through their first smash, titled "Espaldas Mojadas"; and Mexican band Plastilina Mosh performs their alternative pop/rock on "Monster Truck." ~ Drago Bonacich, All Music Guide
