    Private Lounge, Vol. 1 features two discs of downtempo music, including many of the style's most established producers. Some of the more established producers here include Amon Tobin ("Keepin' It Steel [The Anvil Track]"), Beanfield (the Swag's Vocal Mix of "The Season"), Kevin Yost ("Conquistadors [Forward Mast]"), Aquanote ("True Love"), and Ashley Beedle (remixing Smith & Mighty's "Same"), in addition to several others. Those who appreciate downtempo dance music more inclined to chillin' out than gettin' down should find much to savor here, particularly given this album's enormous breadth, spanning two discs, each filled to the brim. ~ Jason Birchmeier, All Music Guide
