    Hardest Hits: 10 Years in the Game 1992-2002 features some of the highlights from the West Coast rap label 40 Ounce Records. Every song here features Jay Tee (James Trujillo), if not as a rapper then as a producer. Most of the songs are performed by Jay Tee's group N2Deep ("Do tha Crew," "Gatha Roun," "Playa Jay Tee"), along with a few Latino Velvet songs (another Jay Tee group), a few Jay Tee solo tracks, and a song by So Cold (featuring Jay Tee). Given this album's broad scope, it's a great introduction to Jay Tee's work during the '90s, with an emphasis on his late-'90s work. ~ Jason Birchmeier, All Music Guide
