    The 2001 update to the long-running Super Sanremo hits-compilation series includes 20 love songs by the hottest Italian artists of the year: Gigi d'Allesio ("Tu Che ne Sai"), Anna Oxa ("L'Eterno Movimento"), Stefano Ligi ("Battiti"), Paola Turci ("Saluto l'Inverno"), and Giorgia ("Di Sole e d'Azzurro"). Outsiders probably won't find much to love within the songs' treacly arrangements and outpouring of emotional vocals, but Super Sanremo 2001 is the place to find the biggest Italian hits of the year. ~ John Bush, All Music Guide
