A nicely diverse 14-track compilation that includes tracks from John Mayall (the 1971 "Mr. Censor Man"), the Soup Dragons, Michelle Shocked, Phranc, Tears for Fears and the Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy, among others. There are some expected things and some nice surprises, and it works as a compilation in itself, which is nice. Rock the Vote is the organization dedicated to voter registration and fighting censorship; their best known item is the "Censorship Is UnAmerican" poster and shirt. ~ Steven McDonald, All Music Guide
