Volume two of the Non-Stop Party series follows the usual formula, mixing well-known dancefloor and party nuggets with remixes and contemporary club/dance material. So, you get perennial wedding reception faves like "Y.M.C.A." or Kool & the Gang's "Celebration" matched to "Mambo No. 5" and Little Eva's "Locomotion." Don't be upset that Vengaboys' domestic hit "We Like to Party! (The Vengabus)" isn't here -- "Up and Down," which is included, features the same kooky Euro-dance backing track. As Non-Stop Party is a U.K. production, Jeff Beck's "Hi-Ho Silver Lining" serves as a novelty inclusion. Indeed, you can picture slurring football supporters drunkenly singing it. J. Geils Band's "Centerfold," too, is pure novelty here. The remainder of Non-Stop is made up mostly of medleys and remixes. There's the "Grease Megamix," a weird club version of "Bare Necessities," and a Michael Jackson medley performed by a vocal stand-in. Overall it's not a bad set, with plenty of variety and not as much filler as these kinds of things normally have. However, Non-Stop Party shouldn't be purchased if you believe Lou Bega and Vengaboys belong in the "no play" vault alongside "Who Let the Dogs Out." ~ Johnny Loftus, All Music Guide
