Following his White Party 2000 mix for the Centaur label, David Knapp returns for another mix, simply subtitled White Party. The album is part of Centaur's Party Groove series (another entry in the series being DJ Joe Gauthreaux's Party Groove: Blue Ball) and is quite similar to other similar White Party-themed mixes on not only Centaur but also other labels. Knapp drops some big records during his mix, the centerpiece being Peter Rauhofer's high-profile collaboration with the Pet Shop Boys, "Break 4 Love." Though there are few surprises here, particularly for those familiar with White Party/Centaur releases, devotees of this style should find Knapp's mix to be nothing short of excellent relative to similar mixes. ~ Jason Birchmeier, All Music Guide
