    80's Country Hits is a budget-line collection offering little in the way of packaging, fidelity, or liner content. However, it does boast a decent cache of music. Kicking off with Alabama's monster hit "Mountain Music," it also includes the sassy K.T. Oslin classic "80s Ladies," as well as the Keith Whitley's Number One single "I'm No Stranger to the Rain." (The sequencing of Lorrie Morgan's "Out of Your Shoes" next to her late husband Whitley's track is oddly poignant). The always reliable Waylon Jennings' "Just to Satisfy You" is also a highlight. Like most collections of this sort, 80's Country Hits is padded with filler that should have been left in the past. But nevertheless, its high points are solid. ~ Johnny Loftus, All Music Guide
