    All Music Guide Review

    The first volume in Universal's Elastic series of double-disc DJ mix albums features popular Australian DJs Sveta and Jayse Knipe. The two each mix one of the discs -- Sveta mixing the first, Knipe the second. Both DJs go with mostly techno, though there are quite a few tech-edged house tracks thrown in for good measure. Moreover, the duo isn't afraid to stretch boundaries either, dropping a few records toward the end of their respective sets that move into trance territory. Though this album is intended for an Australian audience, Elastic has international appeal since many of the featured producers -- such as James Holden, Thomas Schumacher, Angel Alanis, BT, and G Flame & Mr G -- are internationally renowned. ~ Jason Birchmeier, All Music Guide
