Submit Your ReviewCelebrating the work of the famed playback singer Lata Mangeshkar, The Greatest Film Songs compiles 14 of the most famous pieces she contributed to Indian cinema, including "Hawa Mein Urdta Jaaye Mora Lal" from Barsaat, "Neeli Aasman So Gaya" from Silsila and "Nagari Nagari Dware Dware Dhoondoon Re Sanwariya" from Mother India. The compilation definitely works better as an introduction to the artist's repertoire (as certainly any more dedicated follower would already have all of this material), but it covers her well, and shows off her voice, and makes the album worthwhile for basic purposes. ~ Marisa Brown, All Music Guide
