As with the first nine volumes in this extensive series, Vol. 10 features several British and Scandinavian trad bands from the late '50s/early '60s. There are four songs apiece from Papa Bue's Viking Jazzband, Sandy Brown's Jazzband, Graham Stewart's New Orleans Band, and Arne Birger's Jazzsjak. In addition, there are two songs from Acker Bilk's Paramount Jazz Band, one from the Bohana Jazz Band, and two from Lennie Baldwin's Dauphine Street Six. The Dixieland-ish music ranges from King Oliver's Creole Jazz Band to George Lewis, and even with seven bands being featured, there is a consistent unity to the performances.
