Simon F played keys in the British duo Intaferon, who made some waves with "Get out of London." F dragged partner/guitarist Simon G along for his solo debut Gun. The high point of this record comes at the start with a wicked run through the sturdy Hoodoo Guru number "I Want You Back." Quasi legend Steve Stevens submits some mean axe-slinging on this single, but then disappears, leaving behind an unmemorable synthesizer-dominated exercise with Bowie and Idol specters providing only fleeting moments of coolness.
