Filled with pop music from around Europe and America, Sanremo '99 is like any other pop CD from any other country. The songs here are the typical combination of emotive techno-pop ("Inverno da Baciare"), up-tempo pop/rock ("Una Musica Può Fare"), down-tempo pop/rock ("Thinking of You"), Brit-pop ("No Regrets"), and tons of ballads. This is a very, very generic compilation that has a lot of good songs, but never offers anything more than what would be expected.
