    Disco Dynamite promises on its cover to deliver "20 Dynamic Disco Hits." It fulfills its promise for the most part, as most of the selections were dancefloor favorites throughout the late '70s and early '80s. There are piles upon piles of disco compilations available at any given point in time, so one can't really slag this for failing to be much different than any number of its competitors. As a quick grab for those who want a cheap fix, this isn't bad at all. Odyssey's "Going Back to My Roots," Kool & the Gang's "Get Down on It," Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes' "Don't Leave Me This Way," Rose Royce's "I Wanna Get Next to You," and the Detroit Emeralds' "Feel the Need in Me" are featured. ~ Andy Kellman, All Music Guide
