    All Music Guide Review

Something's Gone Wrong Again: Buzzcocks Covers is an entertaining but ultimately inconsiquential tribute album to Manchester's finest punk band. Featuring early '90s indie-rock and alternative rock groups like the Didjits, Naked Raygun, the Fluid, Lunachicks, and Alice Donut, among many others, the album doesn't have any truly great or revelatory performances, but the Buzzcocks' songs are strong enough to make the album entertaining while its playing. Even so, about halfway through the album it's pretty likely that you'll take it off and start playing Singles Going Steady instead. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
