This three-disc set from K-Tel presents re-recorded versions of mostly well-known country favorites. While it isn't thick with hits, the collection does offer some memorable country & western moments, and functions adequately enough as a budget buy for a road trip or theme party. Highlights include "Six Days on the Road," "It Wasn't God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels," and the singalong favorite "Big Bad John." ~ Johnny Loftus, All Music Guide
