    All Music Guide Review

    The Best of Midnight Star, a budget-line title released by EMI in 2002, contains most of Midnight Star's biggest hits -- "Operator," "No Parking (On the Dance Floor)," "Midas Touch," "Freak-a-Zoid," "Wet My Whistle," and "Body Snatchers." However, a handful of tracks that any casual fan should have are not included, such as "Don't Rock the Boat," "Hot Spot," and "Snake in the Grass." You'd be better served by 1999's Anniversary Collection or 2002's Midas Touch: The Best of Midnight Star; both are relatively thorough and therefore representative, and they're also packaged with a lot more care than this particular set. ~ Andy Kellman, All Music Guide
