Doo Wop 45s on CD, Vol. 7 is a single disc containing 25 original tracks that dig a little deeper into the genre and haven't been burned out from years of over-exposure. While a few well-known chart-toppers are included ("Little Darling," "Smoke From Your Cigarette," and "Fountain of Love"), it's a treat to have access to songs by the Rocketones, the Crescents, and the Sheppards that received regional attention but never achieved the national success initially hoped for.
