On this CD, trumpeter Marvin Stamm gathered together some notable players (tenor saxophonist Bob Mintzer, pianist Phil Markowitz, bassist Lincoln Goines and drummer Terry Clarke) for post-bop explorations of five Mintzer tunes, one song apiece by Markowitz, Kenny Wheeler and Lars Jansson, plus two standards ("My Ship" and "Lover Man").
