    Since the quality of most tribute albums is inversely proportional to the quality of the artist being feted, it's seems fair to assume that any homage to the World's Greatest Rock & Roll Band would tend to acquit itself quite poorly. But while the majority of Stoned Again is made up of virtual no-names (all unlikely to change that standing, at least if their work here is any indication), a few of the cuts -- particularly Death of Samantha's "Salt of the Earth" and the Shop Assistants' "Respectable" -- manage to do the originals justice. ~ Jason Ankeny, All Music Guide
