For many, this one may be Stonehill's strongest release. Country-influenced rock short on pretense and long on hooks and poetry, but less introspective than his critically acclaimed Return to Paradise. Producer Dave Perkins shares songwriting credit on the majority of the tracks on this release, and his influence is obvious. This one is about fun, being loud, and raising a ruckus. There's a great hook on the chorus of the opening track, "It's Now." One oddball song stands out on this release on side two, "Cold Rock the Groove," featuring (of all people) Rez Band. A great song if not too cohesive with the rest of the record. Clocking in at just over 30 minutes, this one leaves the listener wanting more and every track is a home run. Great reversible sleeve on all formats. ~ Mark W. B. Allender, All Music Guide
