    It's actually difficult to recommend one of Story's albums over all the rest, because they all offer different sides of her musical personality, complete with brilliant moments and less-successful ideas. Her 1990 return to Windham Hill, however, shows a level of maturity in her ability to compose for solo piano, especially in her creative use of altered harmonies and her mastery of the thoughtful lyricism associated with her greatest inspiration, Bill Evans. ~ Linda Kohanov, All Music Guide
