    Run Recordings' Soft and Suave: Relax Session is a decent set of laid-back downtempo tracks from a smattering of producers, most of them respected and well-known within their underground circles (many of which don't frequently intersect). Abstract hip-hop producer Prefuse 73 ("Last Night"), jazz-house Frenchman St. Germain ("Deep in It"), Richard Dorfmeister's Tosca ("Honey"), and Russian breakbeat experimentalist DJ Vadim ("Your Revolution") are some of the artists who place their wares on display here. Despite being a bit random and not sticking out all that much from about 1,000 competitors (compilations like this are extremely common), the selections and sequencing make for an enjoyable listen. ~ Andy Kellman, All Music Guide
