The Dance That Swept the World! compilation celebrates the grand tradition of a passionate music and dance form that flourished in Buenos Aires during the first half of the 20th century, with 22 vintage recordings made between January 1932 and June 1940, a period during which the tango became enormously popular in England, Europe, and North America.
