All Music Guide Review

The band found its sound on this essential EP from L.A.'s influential Paisley Underground scene. "With a Cantaloupe Girlfriend" and "I Go Wild" capture the essence of the swirling psych-pop sound the band had naively mastered by this time, and their cover of the Easybeats' "Sorry" is worth the price of admission alone. Lead singer Michael Quercio's high, almost creepy voice could at times recall Syd Barrett, but was a unique instrument in its own right. ~ Denise Sullivan, All Music Guide
