    This is a good 14-track collection of highlights from Homestead's roster in the late '80s, including cuts by Dinosaur ("Repulsion"), Volcano Suns ("White Elephant"), Squirrel Bait ("Sun God"), Big Black ("Il Duce"), Salem 66 ("Well"), Death of Samantha ("Blood & Shaving Cream"), Antietam ("In a Glass House"), Live Skull ("Fort Belvedere"), Naked Raygun ("I Remember") and Big Dipper ("You're Not Patsy"). There are a number of tracks that fall flat, but it's a particularly good sampling of the noisy, guitar-drenched sound of the American post-punk underground of the late '80s. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
