This is the fourth solo album from Billy Joe Walker, Jr., a country songwriter and guitarist who specializes, for himself, in light jazz-flavored instrumentals that sound just about like everything you hear pouring from light & easy-type stations. The guitar playing is light-fingered and supple, with efficient arrangements. The keyboards are unobtrusive. The drums click along without rocking the boat (so to speak) and the bass plays all the correct riffs without ever veering from the proper patterns. It's so laidback and relentlessly mellow that it's close to both offensive and astonishingly forgettable at the same time. ~ Steven McDonald, All Music Guide
