Another attempt to expand the sound of the dancefloor into the living room -- despite the track title "Rock 'N' Roll Is Dead" -- includes more song-oriented tracks, with vocal contributions from Saffron (later of Republica), Kirsty Hawkshaw and KLF-regular Maxine Harvey. Drums Are Dangerous is quite a success, much more mature in sound than the debut, though just as consistently danceable. ~ John Bush, All Music Guide
