Pale Saint's third album finds them carrying on without Masters, who had previously written the bulk of the group's material. While his absence is noticeable, it's not disastrous. Slow Buildings is an album of competent pop like "Will You Be My Angel" and "Fine Friend" and some experimental instrumentals like "King Fade" and "Henry." ~ Heather Phares, All Music Guide
