    The selection on Best of Punk Rock, Vol. 3 is a little weird -- only obsessives need to have Department S's French "Is Vic There?" and Penetration's live "Firing Squad" is for punk fetishists -- but there's enough good material on this nine-track budget-priced disc -- including the Saints' "(I'm) Stranded," Graham Parker's "Hold Back the Night," Wire's "2XU" and Richard Hell's "Blank Generation" -- to make it worthwhile for casual listeners. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
