    All Music Guide Review

Although the sounds may vary between pop-soul and adult contemporary, 1995 Grammy Nominees comes off as simply a fine collection of mainstream pop/rock, most of it fairly popular. Even if some of the songs weren't hits, it's more a reflection on narrowly defined radio formats than quality; the overall musical picture is pretty cohesive here. Some of the highlights include Boyz II Men's "I'll Make Love to You," Mariah Carey's "Hero," Bruce Springsteen's "Streets of Philadelphia," Elton John's "Can You Feel the Love Tonight," and Bonnie Raitt's "Love Sneakin' Up on You" and "Longing in Their Hearts." ~ Steve Huey, All Music Guide
