    Mannheim Steamroller's concertmaster and violinist, Arnie Roth, joins his considerable talent with Musica Anima String Ensemble on The Compleat Four Seasons, a first-ever release of Antonio Vivaldi's "Four Seasons Suite" with the composer's own poetry. The poems root Vivaldi's musical score in the lush imagery of words, read on this recording by stage and television actor Patrick Stewart, who is best known for his role as Captain Picard on Star Trek: The Next Generation. Vivaldi, via Stewart, set the stage, leaving the music to rise up in incredibly rich sound. The arrangements by Roth and Musica Anima are wonderfully impressionistic and express the moods of the music. The score is true to the original score of Vivaldi. ~ MusD, All Music Guide
