    All Music Guide Review

    This 1976 three-song EP is many things. It is frenetic, abstract, jazzy, cool, punk rock, artsy, and really, really good. The six-minute "(I Could Live With You) In Another World" is a strutting, jazzy, avant-punk song. Robert Quine's signature freakout guitar is in the forefront. The classic "(I Belong to The) Blank Generation" is still groundbreaking, with stream-of-consciousness lyrics. One can tell, though, that even if Hell was a punk, he still listened to his Dylan records. The bluesy "You Gotta Lose" is a confident, up-tempo song. This song is a perfect example of why Hell fit in with Johnny Thunders & the Heartbreakers initially. Another reason to have this EP is that the songs are different mixes than what appeared on the Blank Generation LP.
