    Mr. Moonlight

    01/01/1995 | Bmg Int'l

    All Music Guide Review

Foreigner extracts the same recipe of old from the cryogenics lab, punctuated by that oh-so-'80s studio keyboard sound. Never mind the juvenile grunts and sighs punctuating the truly excruciating "Big Dog." Pull up for a helping of freeze-dried power ballads before playing spot-the-cliché with the likes of "All I Need to Know," "I Keep Hoping," "Hand on My Heart," and "Until the End of Time" (the group partially redeeming itself on this last track with the hiring of Duane Eddy for some tastefully moody guitar). To be fair, Lou Gramm is still in relatively fine, grainy voice, which only serves to render this whole simulation exercise more scary. ~ Roch Parisien, All Music Guide
