As the name suggests, Run C&W is a parody of rap and soul, taking standard hip-hop lingo and forcing them into a country format. Like most comedy records, it's vaguely amusing at first and runs thin near the end of the disc. Fortunately, the group's instrumental acumen saves the record from ever being tedious, even when the jokes are sophomoric. ~ Thom Owens, All Music Guide
