1995's You Will Be You was the last major label album The Hatters released. The followup to their Atlantic debut The Madcap Adventures of the Avacado Overlord was deemed a failure and the band was subsequently dropped. "The Naked Song," the band's only single from the album, did receive some minor radio attention. But it was not enough to keep the band in the major label game. Despite the lack of success professionally, The Hatters did release two solid albums, which in their genre is an accomplishment. The Hatters faltered with You Will Be You. The musicianship is uneven and the lyrics are not as interesting as on their debut. Highlights include "Colors" and I'll Walk." ~ JT Griffith, All Music Guide
