    A wide range of country devotional songs, mostly from the 1950s and 1960. Certainly most of these 20 artists (who get one song each) are major performers; the roster includes Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Ferlin Husky, Kitty Wells, Jim Reeves, Marty Robbins, and Tennessee Ernie Ford (but how did Jim Nabors get in?). This might be too eclectic a mix for many country fans, though, with syrupy mainstream Nashville pop alternating indiscriminately with the likes of Doc Watson, Cash, and Roy Acuff (performing "I Saw the Light" here with The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band). ~ Richie Unterberger, All Music Guide
