Caged Heat 3000 is the soundtrack to a futuristic women-in-prison film, starring the infamous porn star Ron Jeremy, that was produced by B-movie titan Roger Corman. Both the movie and its soundtrack serve as sequels to the 1974 feature Caged Heat, which was directed by the acclaimed filmmaker Jonathan Demme; its corresponding soundtrack featured contributions from John Cale. Caged Heat 3000's music, on the other hand, comes from the Melvins, the Ape Hangers and Fu Manchu, among others. ~ Jason Ankeny, All Music Guide
